Program overview

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), students provide assistance with daily personal care to those navigating the effects of aging, injury or illness. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse, PSWs assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, household management and other areas of ongoing support. The 30-week program includes 8 weeks of practicum across clinical long-term care and community care settings.
