Paralegal is a licensed profession in Ontario for clients looking for access to cost-effective legal services. This program prepares students for a career in this expanding field, providing the substantive law training required to enter the Law Society of Ontario's paralegal licensing process. Paralegals may represent clients in areas within their permitted scope, including small claims, landlord/tenant matters, and matters before provincial agencies, boards, and tribunals. The program includes a four-week practicum under the supervision of a Law Society of Ontario licensee.
