Program overview

The Occupational Health and Safety Online program is designed to prepare students for employment in a wide variety of work environments, from private, public, and government to healthcare industries. Students gain the skills necessary to protect the physical and mental well-being of people in the workplace and to drive, implement, and manage health and safety initiatives that prevent work-related accidents, injuries, and fatalities. The program is approved by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and is delivered fully online with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to write the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification exam.
