This program provides students with the knowledge and tools required to work in the field of industrial automation and control. Students are introduced to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from OMRON, Allen Bradley, and Siemens programming systems, along with robotics hardware, electrical basics, applicable Electrical Codes, and the use of AutoCAD to create electrical drawings. Upon graduation, students can read and create electrical drawings and design, install, and maintain electronic equipment used in modern industrial processes.
