Program overview

This program introduces students to a broad array of practical and technical skills and tools, preparing them for a career in the home inspection industry. Training links with the professional standards of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI) and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), covering roof, structural, heating, cooling, plumbing, and exterior inspections as well as report writing and building an independent inspection business. Graduates are prepared to work in either the private or public sector, or to become self-employed.
