Program overview

In the Esthetics program students obtain the skills required for a new career, gaining knowledge in skin care, human anatomy, nutrition, and the importance of bacteriology and decontamination to both the esthetician and client. Students gain experience in a variety of services including nail technology, skin care, manicures and pedicures, makeup artistry, body treatments, facials, and various laser treatments. The program also covers the business management skills needed for contributing to or running a salon or spa, including customer service strategies and adhering to professional standards and ethics of the industry.
